Dr. Yichien Cooper

Dr. Yichien Cooper is an adjunct professor at the Washington State University, Tri-Cities. She has demonstrated outstanding leadership internationally and nationally, serving as the President of the World Chinese Art Education Association and Data Visualization Working Group of the NAEA Research Commission. She is the founder of the Asian American Art and Culture Exhibition Annual Event in Tri-cities, Washington. Her research interests include Data Viz!, STEAM education, ABR, and identity studies. She has published six Chinese books to promote art educations.

AACIG Treasure (2021-2023)
Dr. Jaehan Bae (he/him)

Jaehan Bae is a former elementary teacher at the Daegu Metropolitan Area School District in Daegu, South Korea from 1999 to 2003. Currently he is Professor of Art Education in the Department of Art at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. He earned a PhD degree in Art Education at the Florida State
University. His research on pre-service art and  elementary teacher education, socially engaged art, and art teachers' perceptions and lived experiences is published in Art Education, Art Education Research Review, International Journal of the Arts Education, International Research Journal of Art Education, Studies in Art Education, and Visual Arts Research. He received the 2019 Ziegfeld National Service Award from the United States Society for
Education through Art and the 2020 Outstanding Higher Education Art Educator from the Wisconsin Art Education Association.
